Join us on Sunday, September 7th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a Pool Party all for the Dogs! Admission is $10.00 per canine.

Butler County Parks & Recreation is teaming up with the Butler County Humane Society to help donate back to our furry friends. 50% of the proceeds will go to the Butler County Humane Society. The Butler County Parks & Recreation Department is offering this very special program to all dog lovers. We are opening the waterpark for a canine only swim! Lifeguards will be on duty, the play stations will be on, and our four-legged friends can enjoy a leisurely dip in Alameda Waterpark

Please remember we need a copy of your pet's license and a copy of their current vaccination records in order to gain entry into the Waterpark. All dogs will need their Distemper/Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations!

Rules
1. Two dogs maximum per one (1) human owner. Each dog must
have a completed registration form before gaining entry into
special event.
2. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and license.
* DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus and Parainfluenze): 1 or 3 year
Vaccine required
* Bordetella: 6 months or 1 year vaccine required
* Rabies: 1 or 3 year vaccine required
Your vet can supply you with the needed forms.
3. Female dogs “in season” are not allowed into event.
4. Your dog may be released from their leash upon entering the pool deck area, following registration. Pets must be leashed when out of water.
5. No children under the age of 16 are allowed without
direct adult supervision.
6. Your dog must remain under your control at all times. Know your dog's personality. If he/she is acting aggressively, or overly
affectionate, please calm him/her down before un-leashing. If
your dog maintains an aggressive and/or overly affectionate
demeanor, owner and dog will be escorted from the event.
7. Please be sure your dog has been exposed to swimming. Some dogs swim well, some don't. If not, he/she may become afraid or aggressive.
8. Owners must appropriately dispose of their dog’s fecal matter in designated areas that are provided. Be courteous to other guests and clean up your dog’s “accidents.”
9. Please help your dog into and out of the pool. Lifeguards will be on hand if you or they need assistance.
10. Do not bring dogs that have health conditions that may endanger themselves or others.
11. Humans are not allowed in the pool.
12. Outside food or drinks (pet or human) are not
allowed in the pool area.
13. Please notify a staff person or volunteer if you have any questions and we thank you for participating!
14. No puppies under 6 months or proper vaccination protocols are permitted at this event.
